About me

Welcome to my personal website. I'm Jonathan Watt. I live in the UK with my wife and young daughter. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde but switched careers to software development fairly early on. I spend most of my time working on making the Web platform better, mainly by improving Firefox and its implementation of various Web standards. I have the good fortune to be employed by Mozilla to do that. I also love rock climbing, tech of many types, reading and - when I can put up with them - catching up with my oft-neglected extended family. (Just kidding guys, you know I love you!) Oh, and I'm a Rust fan.
